Meadow Breeze Day Camp is looking to fill positions for our 8-week summer camp programs, grades Kindergarten to 12th Grade. Meadow Breeze Day Camp at LCA has been offering an exceptional traditional day camp for kids of all ages and offers a variety of camps such as a Day Camp, AfterCamp, Sports Camps, Launch Trip Camps and Summer Academic Programs.
Positions include, but are not exclusive to, the following: Head Counselors, Junior Counselors, After Camp Coordinators, Aquatics Instructor, Lifeguards/Swim Instructors, and Activity Directors: Archery Instructor, Rock Wall Instructor, Tennis Instructor, Sports Coaches (Basketball, Lacrosse, Soccer & Field Hockey) and Teachers of the Arts (Drama/Theatre, Nature, Arts & Crafts & Music).

QUALIFICATIONS:
ENTHUSIASTIC: Excited about working with children; happy and positive in their dealings with others
FLEXIBLE: Flexible and willing to do whatever it takes to help campers have fun
CREATIVE: Hands-on, proactive and a problem solver
TEAM PLAYER: Ability to work with others
SPIRITUALLY MATURE: Recognizing that LCA is strongly committed to the historic Christian faith, we expect that candidates will subscribe to the Academy’s Statement of Faith, Standards for Christian Living.
LEADER: Initiates and problem-solves; help implement policies and procedures to keep campers safe
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead activities that fall in line with the values of the mission of LCA’s camp and school
Assist with planning, leading and implementing camp activities
Be a role model to the students
Maintain a safe environment for kids of all ages, including implementing emergency policies & procedures
Respond to children’s behaviors and report to Camp Director as necessary
Understand each camper's needs (i.e. medications, allergies, etc.)
REQUIREMENTS:
Must be 18 yrs of age or older (17 yrs of age for Junior Counselors)
Complete a CORI background check
Experience in working in a summer camp preferred; experience working with children is a must
Have the appropriate certifications or willing to be certified if working in the following areas: Archery, Swimming & Rock Wall
